Had an incredible day learning about the history of the Jews of India by touring the historic synagogues of Mumbai! I got a tour from Indian Jewish history expert, Yael Jhirat, and I highly recommend. The designs of the synagogues were absolutely breathtaking. It’s fascinating to see all the similarities and differences to the synagogues I am used to back at home.
